Nayan and Samantha discovered Zouk in Australian dance clubs and started teaching in Dubai in early 2009. Two years later they performed internationally and started teaching instructors in the UAE and Oman. In 2012 they launch a Zouk Instructors Starter Kit including video instructions, tutoring package and sub-domain to support start-ups and grow a large Zouk scene across the neighboring countries in the Middle East as as well as Asia and Africa. Below you will find our official “branches” of instructors that started under our scheme and further below some more great instructors & friends from whom we learned worldwide or whom we like to recommend to take classes from while you are traveling.

Zouk Oman

Our first international off-spring was the Oman Salsa Group led by Thuwaini Al Harthy (organizer of the Oman International Salsa & Dance Festival). It became the Oman Salsa & Zouk Group when Harcourt Bham aka “DJ Capital F” took the initiative to take instructors classes from Zouk Dubai, visited international congresses with us and started regular Zouk classes in Muscat since 2011.
